    Excellent half day out

In the bar there was a bar, water, fanta, cola, beer and sangria (delish btw), dolphins and grind whales with plenty of time to snorkel, chicken paella for adults and chicken nuggets for children.
Toilets on board. Friendly crew. We spent 3 hours traveling which was perfect. Cool on water with lots of shadows, not overcrowded as some trips we've seen.

    Simply amazing!

Maxicat was recommended to us by our travel agency and they did not disappoint us! The boat was very large and could have held 70 people, but there were about 40 on our cruise and it was crowded but not too tight. The 3 hour cruise flew so fast, but it was worth it. Distressed Whales and Dolphins also had the opportunity to go swimming! The drink was free and there were some sandwiches that were ok. If you can, I'd say bring you some snacks!

Thank you for a fab afternoon

Second visit for us with these guys. The staff were great, informative and multilingual. We have not seen the dolphins again * cry * but this is a stroke of luck. We were picked up, taken to the port and dropped off *, even though he forgot us, but wedding ghost * On board we have paella and drinks included.
I have a phobia in the sea (or somewhere) swimming where I can not see the ground, but I dared it and when we stopped, I jumped into a bath.

    Fantastic 3 hour trip.

Maxicat offers a 3-hour or 5-hour trip to see Wales and Dolphins. We booked the 3 hour trip because we thought it was a lot, but we were wrong. The 3 hours flew by and we did not want it to end. We managed to see a pilot swallow that floated beside and under the boat. Amazing! We were then served chicken paella for adults and chicken nuggets for children, followed by fruit. The price was € 25 for adults and € 12. 50 for persons under 12 years. The price also includes unlimited beer, sangria and soft drinks. Ideal for thirst in hot sunshine. After lunch we had the opportunity to swim about 20 minutes in the sea and were able to jump / dive from the boat. The staff was very friendly and spoke excellent English for those who did not speak Spanish. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and will definitely return on the 5 hour trip if we return next September.

A great way to spend an afternoon

Really friendly crew, very hard. Drinks and a lunch included in the price, a takeaway photo, an optional extra. We saw lots of keen whales and had plenty of time to enjoy them. We had a jump into the sea and back. Very pleasant.

Too crowded and not 3 hrs

Booked for whale watching as mom did not look great at her feet so a larger boat would fit. In retrospect I wished I had done more research and booked elsewhere (2 days later). First the collection at the Best Tenerife Hotel was chaos, many other trips here and it was the total madness to find the right trainer. When we got to the port and the catamaran, it was busy with over 80 passengers on board. Instead of leaving at 10am, we had to wait for another coach to arrive. There were so many people on board that it was crowded and you could not see the crowds to see the whales. My mother used a stick to get a little restless sometimes, but the other passengers simply pushed over without consideration and she sat in the same place for the duration that was missing on the views: (The lunch was plentiful and drinks on tap in tiny plastic cups, so ok.
I thought, when we were so late at the port, they could not stay up a bit later, but no, we went back and left the catamaran at 1pm. This trip is cheap and cheerful and if you are willing to push and push to actually see something and get the hard sale from the photographers, then it is fine.
The staff were playful and helpful, but with the short time and a crowded boat, I would not book again. We booked with Bluejack Sail and LOVED it.

    Nice 3 hour trip

Went on the Maxicat as I love catamarans and they offer all inclusive food and drinks and a very reasonable price. You can also swim in the sea. The boat itself was fine, although the 2 nets were very small and only 4 could be allowed at the same time. There were over 100 on the boat and felt that I could not stay on them for too long. I missed the turtles as I went to the side of the boat where they were, we went on. Anyway, managed to see the whales. It was quite crowded, so sometimes hard to make pictures, because the people are only in the way. Unfortunately the people with whom I was on the trip were a little seasick and could not enjoy the marine life. The all-inclusive food as a bit of garbage, basically a small plate of chicken paella (rice was too little) and some canned fruit. There were chicken nuggets for the kids we had to argue for the 12 year old we traveled with. The highlight must jump from the boat to the ocean. Amazing. We had a good 20-30 minutes, where we could stop and swim on the boat. This helped the people with whom I was on the road recover from seasickness. The drinks were all inclusive and included beer, sangria and pop, which was great.

    Great day out.

Choose this trip as it was last minute and the larger boats were boiled. ... was pleasantly surprised. Excellent staff, very informative and helpful. On our day the lake was quite restless and a few people felt sick themselves. Max and Yerico were very helpful and advised not to drink water, but to drink with a refreshment drink. ... that helped. The boat is small, but if you walk out of the harbor is so much space allowed. We had the 5-hour trip and docked to see a swarm of pelt whales swimming next to the boat. In response to some reviews about life vests. .. they are stowed on the boat under the seating area, so do not leave them booking. Beverages were beer, sangria, water and sodas, which were unlimited. Lunch a simple pasta and paella. These were stored in cool boxes in the legs of the boat, so they were fresh and cool. Toilets were fine and clean.

    Very good

The day started on the wrong foot, the bus, which picked us up, was a little late, then we had about 30 minutes without shade and wait until the boat came from the previous ride.
When we were on board, we quickly realized that there was not much space for the crowd of people on the catamaran, not a massive deal for me personally, but some people were frustrated and it was understandable.
Had they cut the numbers by 10 or so (about 90 on board), it would have been much more comfortable. Not too long after the descent we saw a small group of pindwales and came very close, it was great! I have a few pictures that I have made on my phone from the image on my camera, it does not do it justice. Such beautiful creatures! It was a pleasant ride, with a great landscape of the coast, and the small bay in which we bathe was very picturesque. They also served us food, pasta, rice, fruit, drinks, sangria, beer, pop and a few options. Oh, and that was all included in the price. The staff were very nice and friendly, and considering that we paid for the 5hr trip, 40-45 euros, I would personally say it was worth it.
